A charming and graceful Miqo'te hailing from the Black Shroud. Half-Seeker, half-Keeper, this kind and curious soul loves adventuring and experiencing what life has to offer.For the most part, Imzadi is calm and collected, almost graceful in many settings. She can be a bit mischievous -- misusing a Rescue every now and then -- but for the most part, she is kind and gentle. While she understands her limits, she will still try everything in her power to do what she can, especially if she is trying to protect her loved ones.She loves to explore and learn, taking any chance to go on all kinds of adventures. Although she is not from Sharlayan, her strong and curious desire to learn more would have one assuming she was. Imzadi is also quite fond of people-watching, and she will often visit busy cities just to watch the day-to-day interactions.Imzadi is not one for religion, however, she does believe that The Twelve have an influence on how the world works. She also finds political talk to be extremely boring, so she tries to avoid attending political meetings when she can. Any time she had to attend something of the sorts, she dreaded it.She has a deep fear of losing more people that she loves, especially more of the Scions and her Hroth guardians. She will occasionally have nightmares about them dying in front of her, and while she understands that they are just dreams, it does shake her to her core some days.

Deep in the twisting woods of the Black Shroud, a mortally wounded female Keeper of the Moon stumbled through the night before coming across two Hrothgar mercenaries who had made camp not too long ago. Her hands clutching the bundle of cloth tightly to her chest, she gave them a pleading look before collapsing, her injuries finally catching up to her. Despite their combined efforts, they were unable to heal her wounds, and, with her dying breath, she whispered the name of the babe in her arms before entrusting the sleeping Imzadi to them.Imzadi's guardians took great care in raising her, being sure to teach her of the harsh realities of the world while also making sure she knew that she was cared for deeply. They taught her how to survive out in the wild and endure the elements while also training her in a variety of different weapons. The two Hrothgars soon realized that she had a strong affinity with aether and were unsure on how to properly train her regarding it. They decided that the literature written by previous scholars would be the best course of action, and so they brought her a number of tomes from their missions in which she greedily accepted, curiosity always taking a hold of her when presented with a new challenge. In addition to her own studies, she would secretly visit the Conjurers' Guild in Old Gridania frequently to watch from afar and study their methods, something that did not go unnoticed by E-Sumi-Yan.

She would carefully observe conjurers that came into the Shroud to meditate and practice their magics, and even made her own makeshift staffs out of branches she found to practice alongside them. Imzadi would beg her guardians to bring her more books about conjury, and through her studies, she would come to learn more about the Fifth Astral Era and the War of the Magi. She became fascinated with learning about the mages who first interacted with the elementals, and how they discovered many things from them. Unfortunately, in her eagerness to learn and interact with elementals like the mages she had read about, she one day summoned a blight by accident, an incident that required the intervention of E-Sumi-Yan. After the situation was dealt with, he noticed the potential in Imzadi and strongly encouraged her to join the Counjures' Guild, something of which she gladly accepted.While studying under the teachings of E-Sumi-Yan, Imzadi also expressed interest in archery, and soon began practicing with the guidance of her Hrothgar guardians. With her extensive knowledge of the Shroud and innate abilities from being a Miqo'te, Imzadi was able to quickly master the shortbow and, in due time, became a notable member of the Archers' Guild in Gridania.A majority of her childhood was dedicated to honing her skills, both physical and magical, as she desperately wanted to join her Hrothguardians on several of their jobs. As she grew older and became more insistent, they (begrudgingly) agreed to take her along with them.
